Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2-inch piece fresh ginger, sliced
- 1 tsp fresh turmeric slices (or ½ tsp turmeric powder)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4–5 fresh guava leaves, washed

- Pour 4 cups of water into a pot.

- Add onion, garlic, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon stick, and guava leaves.

- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
