Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves (washed thoroughly)

  • 1 large banana (frozen is best for a creamy texture)

  • 1 cup sweet mango or pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)

  • 1/2 cup fresh cucumber slices

  • 10–12 fresh mint leaves

  • 1 cup almond milk, oat milk, or water

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)

  • 1/2 cup ice cubes (optional, if using fresh fruit)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Base: Pour your liquid of choice (milk or water) into the blender first. Adding the liquid first helps the blender blades run smoothly and prevents the ingredients from getting stuck.

  2. Add the Greens and Herbs: Add the fresh spinach leaves and mint leaves into the blender. Blend these together with the liquid for about 15 to 20 seconds until completely smooth. This ensures you won’t get any large leafy bits in your final drink.

  3. Add the Fruit: Drop in the banana slices, mango or pineapple chunks, and cucumber slices. If you prefer a colder, thicker drink, add the ice cubes at this stage.

  4. Blend Until Smooth: Secure the lid tightly and blend on high speed for 1 to 2 minutes. Keep blending until the mixture is perfectly creamy, vibrant green, and uniform in color.

  5. Taste and Adjust: Take a quick sip. If you prefer it sweeter, add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup and blend for another 5 seconds.

  6. Serve: Pour the vibrant green smoothie into two tall glasses, just like Garnish with a fresh sprig of mint on top, pop in a straw, and enjoy immediately!
