Oatmeal, apple and carrots!

1/2 cup oatmeal

1 cup milk or water (or half milk + half water)

1 small apple (grated or finely chopped)

1 small carrot (grated)

1–2 tsp honey or sugar (optional)

1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional but highly recommended)

A pinch of salt

Nuts or raisins (optional topping)

Prepare the fruits & veggies

Grate the apple and carrot.

If you prefer, you can peel the apple first.

Cook the oats

In a saucepan, bring milk/water to a gentle boil.

Add oats and a pinch of salt.

Cook on low heat for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add apple & carrot

Mix in grated apple and carrot.

Cook for another 2–3 minutes until everything softens.

Flavor it

Add cinnamon and sweetener (honey or sugar) if using.

Stir well.

Serve

Pour into a bowl.

Top with nuts, seeds, or raisins if you like extra texture.
