🥥 Coconut Cream Dessert / Coconut Tiramisu
A creamy, no-bake dessert made with soft ladyfinger biscuits, coconut cream and fluffy whipped cream. It’s simple, refreshing and perfect for gatherings.
🛒 Ingredients
For the biscuit layers:
- 24–30 ladyfinger biscuits (Savoiardi)
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
For the coconut cream:
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream, chilled
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup coconut cream
- ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup shredded desiccated or fresh coconut
For topping:
- 1½–2 cups shredded coconut
- Optional: toasted coconut flakes
👩🍳 Method
1. Prepare the cream:
Beat the chilled whipping cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
2. Add coconut cream and condensed milk. Beat gently until smooth and fluffy.
3. Fold in ½ cup shredded coconut using a spatula.
4. Prepare the dipping mixture:
Mix coconut milk, sugar and vanilla until the sugar dissolves.
5. First layer:
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coconut-milk mixture. Don’t soak them too long or they will become mushy.
6. Arrange the biscuits in a single layer in a rectangular serving dish.
7. Spread half of the coconut cream evenly over the biscuits.
8. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers.
9. Spread the remaining coconut cream over the top and smooth it nicely.
10. Cover the entire top generously with shredded coconut.
11. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
12. Cut into squares and serve chilled. 🥥✨
💡 Tips
Chill the whipping cream, bowl and beaters before whipping for a fluffier cream.
For stronger coconut flavor, lightly toast some coconut and sprinkle it on top.
Don’t over-soak the ladyfingers.
Overnight chilling gives the dessert the best texture.
🥥 Creamy, coconutty and absolutely delicious! Perfect for Eid, parties or a special family dessert. ❤️
