Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole

Chicken: 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed

Ham: 1 cup diced deli ham

Cheese: 1 ½ cups shredded Swiss cheese (or Mozzarella)

Sauce: 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup, ½ cup sour cream, and ½ cup milk

Seasoning: ½ tsp garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to taste

Topping: 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers or breadcrumbs, mixed with 2 tbsp melted butter

Garnish: Fresh chopped parsley

Prep: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Mix Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.

Layer: Evenly spread the cooked chicken in the bottom of your prepared baking dish. Layer the diced ham over the chicken, then pour the sauce mixture evenly over the top.

Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheese in a generous layer over the sauce.

Crunchy Topping: Combine the crushed crackers and melted butter in a small bowl, then sprinkle them over the cheese layer.

Bake: Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes, until the sauce is bubbling at the edges and the cheese is beautifully melted and golden brown.
