Garlic Herb Pull-Apart Bread

Ingredients

For the Dough

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2¼ tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

For the Garlic Herb Topping

  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill or parsley, chopped

🥣 Step 1: Make the Dough

➡️ In a large bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar.

➡️ Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.

➡️ Add flour, salt, and melted butter.

➡️ Mix until a soft dough forms.

✋ Step 2: Knead

➡️ Knead the dough for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

➡️ Place in a lightly greased bowl.

➡️ Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

⚪ Step 3: Shape the Rolls

➡️ Punch down the dough.

➡️ Divide into 7–8 equal pieces.

➡️ Roll each piece into a smooth ball.

➡️ Arrange the balls in a round baking pan as shown in the picture.

⏳ Step 4: Second Rise

➡️ Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.

➡️ The dough balls should expand and touch each other.

🔥 Step 5: Bake

➡️ Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

➡️ Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown on top.

🧄 Step 6: Make Garlic Butter

➡️ Mix together:

  • Melted butter
  • Minced garlic
  • Chopped dill or parsley

🌿 Step 7: Finish

➡️ Brush the hot bread generously with the garlic herb butter.

➡️ Let it soak into the bread for a few minutes.

➡️ Serve warm and pull apart the soft rolls by hand.
