Greek-Style Ground Beef Gyro
Wraps with Tzatziki
 Ingredients
For the Beef:
1 lb (450 g) ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp ground cumin
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp lemon juice
For the Tzatziki:
½ cup Greek yogurt
½ cucumber, finely grated and squeezed dry
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
For Serving:
4 pita breads or flatbreads
1 tomato, diced
½ red onion, thinly sliced
1 cup shredded lettuce
¼ cup crumbled feta cheese
Fresh parsley
 Instructions
1. Make the Tzatziki:
Combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, dill, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well and refrigerate while preparing the beef.
2. Cook the Beef:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook for 5–7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned and cooked through. Drain excess grease if necessary.
Add oregano, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and cook for another 2–3 minutes until fragrant. Finish with lemon juice and fresh parsley.
3. Warm the Flatbreads:
Heat pita breads or flatbreads in a dry skillet for about 30–60 seconds per side until soft and lightly toasted.
4. Assemble:
Spread a generous layer of tzatziki over each warm flatbread. Add shredded lettuce, seasoned beef, tomatoes, red onion, and crumbled feta. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
5. Wrap and Serve:
Fold the sides inward and roll tightly. For extra flavor, lightly grill the finished wraps for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and slightly crisp.
