Garlic Butter Green Beans π₯π§
Ingredients
- 2 cans cut green beans, drained
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Β½ teaspoon salt
- Β½ teaspoon black pepper
- Β½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ΒΌ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- ΒΌ cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and cook until soft and slightly golden.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add green beans and mix well.
- Pour in chicken broth and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
- Cook for 8β10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and flavorful.
- Serve warm as a delicious side dish.
Tips
- Add cooked bacon pieces for extra flavor.
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese before serving.
- Fresh green beans can also be used instead of canned.
