Crispy Chicken Fritters
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, finely chopped
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the chopped chicken, eggs, mayonnaise, flour, mozzarella cheese, parsley, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
Step 2: Chill
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes. This helps the mixture hold together and improves the texture.
Step 3: Cook the Fritters
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture into the skillet for each fritter. Gently flatten with the back of a spoon.
Step 4: Fry Until Golden
Cook for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the chicken is fully cooked through.
Step 5: Drain
Transfer the fritters to a plate lined with paper towels to remove excess oil.
Step 6: Serve
Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce, salad, or roasted vegetables.
