Creamy Garlic Shrimp & Salmon
with Lemon Parmesan Sauce
with Lemon Parmesan Sauce
Ingredients
2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
8–10 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp paprika
Juice of ½ lemon
1 tsp lemon zest
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Lemon slices, for garnish
Instructions
Pat the salmon fillets and shrimp dry with paper towels. Season both with salt, black pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and keep warm.
In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Transfer to a plate with the salmon.
Reduce the heat to medium and sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Simmer gently for 2–3 minutes before adding the Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese melts completely and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
Mix in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and chopped parsley. Taste and adjust the seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.
Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the creamy sauce over the fillets. Arrange the shrimp on top and let everything simmer for 2 minutes to blend the flavors.
Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices before serving. Pair this rich and flavorful seafood dish with buttery mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus, roasted broccoli, pasta, or fluffy rice. Every bite is packed with creamy garlic, bright lemon, tender salmon, and juicy shrimp, making this an unforgettable meal that looks impressive yet comes together in about 30 minutes.
