Creamy Garlic Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts or 4 small fillets
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 5 to 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes, optional
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken and cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and stir well.
  6. Add heavy cream, parmesan cheese, oregano, parsley, and chili flakes.
  7. Stir and let the sauce simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly thick and creamy.
  8. Return the chicken to the pan and spoon the sauce over it.
  9. Cook for another 2 minutes on low heat.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
