Cabbage Burger Steaks 🥬🍔
Ingredients
- 1 small cabbage, cut into thick rounds
- 1½ lbs ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place cabbage rounds on a greased baking tray.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Form large patties and place one on top of each cabbage round.
- Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until burgers are cooked through and browned on top.
- Optional: add cheese during the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Serve hot with your favorite side dish.
Tips
- Use turkey or chicken instead of beef for a lighter version.
- Add shredded cheese inside the patties for extra flavor.
- Great with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
