Cinnamon Sugar Donut Bites with Vanilla Glaze

Ingredients

For the Donut Bites

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Oil for frying

For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating

  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

For the Vanilla Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Step 1

In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

Add milk and melted butter. Stir until a soft dough forms.

Step 3

Roll the dough into small bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter.

Step 4

Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).

Carefully fry the dough balls in batches for 2–3 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown.

Step 6

Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Step 7

Mix the cinnamon and sugar in a bowl.

Step 8

While still warm, roll the donut bites in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated.

For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.

Step 10

Drizzle the vanilla glaze generously over the donut bites and serve warm.
