Ingredients

The Base:

  • Vanilla or Chocolate Ice Cream: 3 large scoops (Premium ice cream makes it creamier).

  • Whole Milk: 1/2 cup (Adjust for your preferred thickness).

  • Creamy Peanut Butter: 2 tablespoons.

  • Chocolate Syrup: 2 tablespoons.

The Toppings:

  • Whipped Cream: Heavily applied on top.

  • Crushed Peanuts: 1 tablespoon (Roasted and salted work best).

  • Extra Chocolate Drizzle: For the glass and the top.

Instructions

1. Prep the Glass

To get that “pro” look from the photo, take your chocolate syrup and drizzle it along the inside rim of a tall glass. Let it drip down the sides naturally. Place the glass in the freezer for 5 minutes while you blend; this helps the drizzle stay in place when you pour the shake.

2. Blend the Mixture

In a high-powered blender, combine the ice cream, milk, peanut butter, and chocolate syrup.

  • Pro Tip: If you want a thicker shake, add the milk slowly. If it’s too thick to blend, add an extra splash of milk. Avoid over-blending, or it will turn into a thin juice rather than a thick shake.

3. The Assembly

Retrieve your chilled glass from the freezer. Pour the blended mixture slowly into the center so you don’t disturb the chocolate swirls on the glass walls. Fill it up to about an inch below the rim.

4. The Finishing Touches

  • Whipped Cream: Spiral a generous amount of whipped cream on top, starting from the outside and moving toward the center to create a peak.

  • Garnish: Drizzle more chocolate syrup over the whipped cream. Sprinkle the crushed peanuts over the top for that essential crunch.

  • Serve: Add a wide straw and enjoy immediately!

Customization Tips

  • Make it Vegan: Use oat milk, almond butter, and dairy-free vanilla ice cream.

  • Extra Protein: Add a scoop of chocolate protein powder for a post-workout treat.

  • Malty Flavor: Add 1 tablespoon of malted milk powder for a “Peanut Butter Malt” vibe.
