Creamy Garlic Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts or 4 small fillets
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 5 to 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes, optional
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the chicken and cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and stir well.
- Add heavy cream, parmesan cheese, oregano, parsley, and chili flakes.
- Stir and let the sauce simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly thick and creamy.
- Return the chicken to the pan and spoon the sauce over it.
- Cook for another 2 minutes on low heat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
