1 cup fresh kale leaves (stems removed)

1 cup frozen mango chunks

1/2 ripe banana (sliced)

3/4 cup milk (dairy or almond milk)

1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Prep the greens: Thoroughly wash the kale leaves and tear them away from the tough wooden stems.

Layer the blender: Add the liquid milk and Greek yogurt to your blender first. This helps the blades spin smoothly.

Add the rest: Toss in the fresh kale, frozen mango chunks, and banana slices.

Blend until smooth: Secure the lid and blend on high speed for 60 seconds. If the smoothie is too thick, splash in a little more milk.
