Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks: Provides a thick, frosty texture and natural sweetness.

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries: Hulled and sliced for a burst of berry flavor.

  • 1 medium banana: Best if ripe, to add natural creaminess and sweetness.

  • ¾ cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla): Adds protein and a tangy, smooth consistency.

  • 1 cup almond milk (or milk of choice): To help everything blend smoothly.

  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional): Depending on your preferred sweetness level.

  • A pinch of ground cinnamon: For a subtle, warm depth of flavor.

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fruit: If using fresh strawberries, wash them thoroughly and remove the green leafy tops. Peel your banana and break it into 3-4 smaller pieces to make it easier for the blender blades to catch.

  2. Layer the Ingredients: Add the liquid (milk) to your blender first. This creates a “vortex” that prevents the frozen fruit from getting stuck at the bottom. Follow with the yogurt, then the fresh banana, and finally the frozen mango and strawberries on top.

  3. Blend: Secure the lid firmly. Start the blender on a low speed to break up the larger frozen chunks, then gradually increase to high. Blend for about 45–60 seconds until the mixture looks completely uniform and “velvety.”

  4. Adjust Consistency: If the smoothie is too thick, add an extra splash of milk and pulse. If you prefer it thicker, add a few more pieces of frozen mango or a couple of ice cubes.

  5. Serve: Pour the smoothie into a chilled glass. For a beautiful presentation—as seen in your image—garnish with a fresh strawberry slice and a wedge of mango on the side.

Tips for Success

  • Use Frozen Fruit: Using frozen mango is the secret to achieving that thick, soft-serve-like texture without needing to add ice, which can sometimes water down the flavor.

  • Nutrition Boost: Feel free to add a tablespoon of chia seeds or flaxseeds for extra fiber and Omega-3s.

  • Storage: Smoothies are best enjoyed immediately, but you can store this in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Just give it a good shake before drinking!
