Creamy Mango Smoothie
Prep time: 5 minutes | Servings: 1-2
Ingredients
-
2 cups Fresh Mango: Peeled and diced (Alphonso or Honey mangoes work best for that deep orange color).
-
1 cup Greek Yogurt: Plain or vanilla (use full-fat for maximum creaminess).
-
½ cup Milk: (Dairy, almond, or coconut milk all work perfectly).
-
1-2 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup: Depending on how sweet your mangoes are.
-
¼ tsp Cardamom Powder: (Optional, but gives it that authentic “Lassi” flavor).
-
Ice Cubes: A small handful if you want it extra chilled.
The Toppings (As seen in your photo)
To get that professional look, garnish with:
-
Fresh Mango chunks
-
Crushed Pistachios and Almonds
-
A few strands of Saffron
-
A sprig of Fresh Mint
Instructions
-
Combine: Add the mango, yogurt, milk, sweetener, and cardamom into a high-speed blender.
-
Blend: Start on low and gradually increase to high. Blend for about 45-60 seconds until the texture is completely smooth and velvety.
-
Adjust: If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more milk. If you want it colder, toss in a few ice cubes and pulse again.
-
Assemble: Pour into a tall glass. Carefully place your mango chunks and nuts on top so they “float” on the thick foam.
-
Serve: Add a straw and enjoy immediately!
Pro Tip: For an even creamier, milkshake-like consistency without using ice, use frozen mango chunks instead of fresh ones. It keeps the flavor intense without watering it down!
