Mediterranean Halloumi Board
Ingredients
For the Halloumi:
- 2 blocks halloumi cheese, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp paprika
For the Bread & Base:
- 2 cups pita bread, warmed or toasted
- 1 cup assorted crackers
For the Fresh Add-ons:
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- ½ cup Kalamata olives
- ½ cup green olives
- ½ red onion, thinly sliced
For the Savory Extras:
- ½ cup roasted red peppers
- ½ cup marinated artichokes
For the Sweet & Crunchy Elements:
- ½ cup dried figs or apricots
- ½ cup toasted almonds or walnuts
For Garnish & Drizzle:
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- Fresh parsley or mint
- Lemon wedges
Directions
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add halloumi slices and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Sprinkle with oregano and paprika.
Warm pita bread until soft and slightly golden.
Arrange cooked halloumi on a large serving board.
Surround with pita, crackers, vegetables, olives, roasted peppers, artichokes, dried fruits, and nuts.
Drizzle olive oil and honey over the halloumi and garnish with fresh herbs and lemon wedges.
Serve immediately while the halloumi is warm and slightly crispy.
