Sautéed Zucchini with Mushrooms
Ingredients (Serves 2–4)
2 medium zucchini (sliced into rounds)
1½ cups mushrooms (sliced)
2 tbsp olive oil or butter
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning or dried herbs
2 tbsp grated parmesan (optional)
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
🔥 Instructions
1. Heat the pan
Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat
2. Cook mushrooms first
Add mushrooms
Cook for 4–5 minutes until browned and slightly crispy
👉 Let them release and evaporate moisture first
3. Add zucchini
Add sliced zucchini to the pan
Cook another 4–5 minutes
👉 Stir occasionally but don’t overcrowd
4. Add garlic & seasoning
Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, and herbs
Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant
5. Finish
Sprinkle parmesan (optional)
Garnish with fresh parsley
