Ingredients

For the Smoothie:

  • 1 cup Unsweetened almond milk (or coconut milk for extra creaminess)

  • 1 Frozen banana (peeled and sliced before freezing)

  • 1 tbsp Almond butter

  • 1 tbsp Unsweetened cocoa powder or cacao powder

  • 1 tbsp Shredded coconut (unsweetened)

  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

  • Optional: 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder or a drizzle of maple syrup for sweetness.

For the “Rim” & Topping:

  • 2 tbsp Melted dark chocolate

  • 1 tbsp Finely crushed almonds

  • 1 tbsp Shredded coconut

  • Handful of whole almonds for garnish


Instructions

  1. Prep the Glass: Melt your dark chocolate in a small bowl. Dip the rim of your tall glass into the chocolate, then immediately dip it into a mixture of shredded coconut and crushed almonds. Let it sit for a minute to set.

  2. Blend: Add the almond milk, frozen banana, almond butter, cocoa powder, shredded coconut, and vanilla into a high-speed blender.

  3. Process: Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. If it’s too thick, add a splash more almond milk.

  4. Assemble: Pour the smoothie into your prepared glass.

  5. Garnish: Top with a few whole almonds and an extra sprinkle of coconut. Serve with a straw and enjoy immediately!
