πŸ“ Creamy Strawberry PB Smoothie

πŸ“ Creamy Strawberry PB Smoothie

Prep time: 5 minutes | Servings: 1

Ingredients

The Base:

1 cup Frozen strawberries (yields a thicker texture than fresh)

1 Ripe banana (preferably frozen for extra creaminess)

1 cup Milk of your choice (dairy, almond, oat, or soy)

1/2 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

1-2 tbsp Creamy peanut butter

The “Extras” (Optional):

1 tsp Honey or maple syrup (if you prefer it sweeter)

1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

The Toppings (As seen in the image):

2-3 Fresh strawberries, thinly sliced

1 tbsp Roasted peanuts, crushed or chopped

A drizzle of extra peanut butter

Instructions

Layer the Blender: Start by pouring the milk into the blender first. Adding liquid first helps the blades move more freely and prevents “clogging” from the frozen fruit.

Combine: Add the frozen strawberries, banana, Greek yogurt, and peanut butter.

Blend: Secure the lid and blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and thick. If it’s too thick to move, add a splash more milk.

Taste Test: Give it a quick sip. If you want it sweeter, add your honey or maple syrup now and pulse for 5 seconds.

Assemble: Pour into a chilled glass. Top one side with your fresh strawberry slices and the other side with the crushed peanuts.

Tips for Success

For a Protein Boost: Add a scoop of vanilla protein powder. If you do this, you might need an extra 1/4 cup of milk.

Consistency: If you like it thick enough to eat with a spoon (like a smoothie bowl), use less milk. If you want to drink it easily through that metal straw, use a bit more.
