Chocolate Chip Strawberry Smoothie
Prep time: 5 minutes | Servings: 1-2
Ingredients
-
1 ½ cups Fresh or frozen strawberries (frozen makes it thicker!)
-
1 cup Milk of your choice (dairy, almond, or oat milk work great)
-
½ cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla for extra creaminess)
-
1 tbsp Honey or maple syrup (optional, depending on berry sweetness)
-
2 tbsp Mini dark chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)
-
½ tsp Vanilla extract
-
Ice cubes (if using fresh strawberries)
Instructions
-
Combine: Add the strawberries, milk, yogurt, sweetener, and vanilla extract into a high-speed blender.
-
Blend: Pulse until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
-
Add the Crunch: Add the chocolate chips to the blender and pulse for just 3-5 seconds. You want them broken into tiny pieces, not completely liquefied, to get that nice texture.
-
Serve: Pour into a glass.
-
Garnish: Top with a few whole mini chocolate chips and a fresh strawberry on the side, just like the photo.
Pro Tips
-
Make it a Protein Shake: Add a scoop of vanilla or chocolate protein powder for a post-workout treat.
-
Keep it Cold: If you use fresh berries instead of frozen, add about ½ cup of ice to get that chilled, frothy consistency.
