Fresh Strawberry Bliss Smoothie
This recipe yields about 2 servings, perfect for those two glasses shown in your photo.
Ingredients
| Amount | Ingredient | Notes |
| 2 cups | Fresh or Frozen Strawberries | Hulled (stems removed) |
| 1 cup | Milk of choice | Dairy, almond, or oat milk work great |
| 1/2 cup | Greek Yogurt | Plain or vanilla for creaminess |
| 1-2 tbsp | Honey or Maple Syrup | Adjust based on berry sweetness |
| 1 tsp | Vanilla Extract | For that “smoothie shop” aroma |
| 1 cup | Ice | Only if using fresh berries |
Instructions
-
Prep the Berries: If using fresh strawberries, wash them thoroughly and remove the green tops. If they are very large, slice them in half to help the blender.
-
Layer the Blender: Add your liquid (milk) first. This prevents the fruit from getting stuck at the bottom.
-
Add the Rest: Add the yogurt, sweetener, vanilla, and finally the strawberries (and ice if needed).
-
Blend: Start on a low speed and gradually increase to high. Blend for about 45–60 seconds until the texture is completely smooth and those tiny strawberry seeds are well-incorporated.
-
Garnish: Pour into tall glasses. As seen in your image, slice a fresh strawberry halfway through the bottom and perch it on the rim of the glass. Add a fun striped straw to finish the look!
Pro-Tips for the Best Texture
-
For a thicker smoothie: Use frozen strawberries instead of fresh. It creates a frosty, sorbet-like consistency without watering it down with ice.
-
For extra nutrients: Add a tablespoon of chia seeds or ground flaxseeds; they won’t change the flavor but will add a boost of fiber.
