Ingredients

1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ teaspoon paprika

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
Prep the Shrimp
Pat shrimp dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Sauté the Garlic
Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant (do not brown).
Cook the Shrimp
Add shrimp in a single layer. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
Avoid overcooking — shrimp cook very quickly!
Finish the Sauce
Add remaining butter, red pepper flakes (if using), and lemon juice.
Stir gently until butter melts and coats the shrimp.
Garnish & Serve
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
