The Best Spinach and Cheese Omelette Recipe

Ingredients

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon of butter or olive oil

1 cup of fresh spinach

½ cup of shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or your preferred cheese)

1 tablespoon of milk (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Wash and drain the spinach.

Beat the eggs with the milk, salt and pepper.

In a frying pan with oil or butter, sauté the spinach for 1-2 minutes.

Pour the beaten eggs over the spinach in the pan.

Add the grated cheese on top.

Fold it with a spatula and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Serve hot, alone or with company.

Notes

Use well-drained frozen spinach if you don’t have fresh.

Try different types of cheese to vary the flavor.

Ideal with a salad or toasted bread.
