Sausage Hashbrown Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 1 package (20 oz) frozen hashbrowns, thawed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain the excess fat.
  3. Spread the hashbrowns in an even layer in the baking dish. Sprinkle cooked sausage and 1 cup of cheese over the hashbrowns.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, green onions, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Pour this mixture over the hashbrowns and sausage.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the casserole is set and the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
