- Pretzel squares or pretzel twists
- Rolo candies (unwrapped)
- Pecan halves or whole almonds
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
- Line Baking Sheet:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Assemble the Pretzel Bases:
- Arrange pretzel squares or pretzel twists on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Top with Rolos:
- Place a Rolo candy on top of each pretzel. If using pretzel squares, you can press the Rolos into the center. If using pretzel twists, you can place the Rolos on top.
- Warm in the Oven:
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven for about 3-4 minutes, or until the Rolos start to soften. Keep an eye on them – you want them soft but not fully melted.
- Add Pecans:
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and gently press a pecan half or whole almond into the center of each Rolo, squishing it down into the pretzel.
- Cool and Set:
- Allow the Rolo Pretzel Turtles to cool completely. You can speed up the process by placing them in the fridge for a quicker set.
