Parmesan Baked Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Olive oil for brushing

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each pork chop into the beaten eggs, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  4. Press the pork chops into the breadcrumb mixture, making sure both sides are covered evenly.
  5. Place the coated pork chops on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Lightly brush each chop with olive oil to help achieve a golden crust during baking.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  8. Once done, let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving
