1 cup warm water (not boiling)

1 tablespoon raw honey

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

(Optional) a pinch of ground ginger or cinnamon

Warm the water until it is comfortably hot, not boiling.

Add the honey and stir until fully dissolved.
