Ingredients:
- 8 oz egg noodles or your favorite pasta
- 1 lb German sausage, sliced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the sliced German sausage over medium heat. Once browned, remove the sausage from the skillet and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, add chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, cooking until the mushrooms are golden brown.
- Return the cooked sausage to the skillet, then pour in the heavy cream and add Dijon mustard. Stir to combine and simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet, ensuring it is well coated with the creamy sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve your German Pasta Drove hot.
