This vibrant drink is packed with vitamins and fiber, making it an ideal morning boost or a revitalizing afternoon snack.

 

Ingredients

1 cup Fresh kale leaves (stems removed)

 

1 large Green apple (Granny Smith works best), cored and chopped

 

1/2 Medium cucumber, sliced

 

1 cup Coconut water or filtered water

 

1 tbsp Fresh lemon juice (to keep it bright and prevent browning)

 

1/2 inch Fresh ginger, peeled (optional, for a spicy kick)

 

1/2 cup Ice cubes

 

Instructions

Prep the Greens: Thoroughly wash the kale and apple. Tear the kale into smaller pieces to help your blender process the fibers smoothly.

 

Layer the Blender: Pour your liquid base (coconut water) into the blender first. Adding liquids first helps create a vortex that pulls the solid ingredients down toward the blades.

 

Add Solids: Add the kale, apple chunks, cucumber, and ginger.

 

Blend: Start on a low speed to break up the kale, then increase to high. Blend for about 45–60 seconds until the texture is completely smooth and no leafy bits remain.

 

Chill: Add the ice cubes and blend again for 20 seconds until frosty.

 

Serve: Pour into a tall glass. For that professional look in your photo, garnish with a small kale leaf and a few spare apple cubes on top.

 

Tip: If you prefer a slightly sweeter taste without adding sugar, you can toss in half a frozen banana or a few green grapes.
