Cottage Cheese Chips Recipe: Crispy & Flavorful
These cottage cheese chips are a great high-protein, low-carb snack option. You can customize them with your favorite seasonings!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cottage cheese (preferably full-fat)
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- Desired seasonings (e.g., garlic powder, onion powder, Everything Bagel seasoning, Italian seasoning)
Optional:
- 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (adds extra crispness)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, salt, and pepper. Gently stir in any additional seasonings you like. If using Parmesan cheese, fold it in at this point.
- Scoop 1/2 to 1 tablespoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Leave some space between each scoop for spreading.
- Use a spoon to gently flatten the cottage cheese into thin rounds. Aim for about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy around the edges. The centers may still be slightly soft.
- Let cool completely on the baking sheet before transferring to an airtight container for storage.
