Cold Oreo Cake

Here’s a  recipe for a Cold Oreo Cake:

Ingredients

  • 1 roll of Maria cookies
  • 100 grams unsalted melted butter
  • 190 grams cream cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 10 grams grenetine (gelatin)
  • 6 tablespoons water
  • 14 Oreo cookies, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust:
    • In a blender or food processor, grind the Maria cookies into fine crumbs.
    • Add the melted butter and mix until a homogeneous paste forms.
    • Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of a removable mold lined with waxed paper. Ensure the bottom is evenly covered and compressed.
    • Refrigerate the crust for 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Filling:
    • In a large bowl, blend the cream cheese, milk, condensed milk, and vanilla essence until smooth.
    • In a small container, dissolve the grenetine in water and let it hydrate for a few minutes.
    • Once hydrated, heat the grenetine in the microwave for about 10 seconds until it is fully dissolved.
    • Add the dissolved grenetine to the cream cheese mixture and blend for 1 minute.
    • Gently fold in the chopped Oreo cookies.
  3. Assemble the Cake:
    • Remove the crust from the refrigerator and pour the cream cheese mixture over it.
    • Smooth the top with a spatula if necessary.
    • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the cake is firm.
  4. Decorate:
    • Once the cake is set, decorate with additional Oreo cookies on top.
  5. Serve and Enjoy:
    • Carefully remove the cake from the mold.
    • Slice and serve chilled.
