Classic Chicken Alfredo Pasta Recipe

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Additional grated Parmesan for serving

 

Instructions:

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and slice.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  4. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and add to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce.
  5. Toss the pasta in the sauce, then add the sliced chicken. Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
