Recipe: Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
Ingredients:
- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ⅛ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup mashed bananas (about 2-3 medium bananas)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar. Add eggs, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely
