Chicken Wrap recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large whole wheat or spinach tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sliced red onions
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Salsa and guacamole for serving (optional)
Instructions:
- In a pan over medium heat, cook the sliced chicken in olive oil until fully cooked. Season with cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and honey to create the sauce.
- Warm the tortillas according to package instructions.
- Assemble the wraps by placing a portion of the cooked chicken on each tortilla.
- Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced red onions, and cheddar cheese.
- Drizzle the honey-mustard sauce over the ingredients.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll it up tightly to form the wrap.
- Repeat for the remaining wraps.
- Serve with salsa and guacamole on the side if desired.
