Chicken Alfredo Cabbage Bake
Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 2 large chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
For the Cabbage Base:
- 4 cups cabbage, chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
For the Alfredo Sauce:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
For the Topping:
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Directions
Prepare the Cabbage:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat
Add chopped cabbage, salt, and black pepper
Cook for 5–7 minutes until slightly softened
Prepare the Chicken:
In the same skillet, add olive oil and garlic
Sauté for 1 minute
Add shredded chicken, salt, and black pepper and mix well
Prepare the Alfredo Sauce:
In a saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat
Stir in Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper
Simmer until slightly thickened
Assemble the Bake:
In a baking dish, layer cooked cabbage
Add chicken on top
Pour Alfredo sauce evenly over everything
Top with mozzarella and extra Parmesan cheese
Bake:
Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden
Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley
Serve hot
