Blueberry Banana Almond Milk Smoothie

Blueberry Banana Almond Milk Smoothie

Prep time: 5 minutes | Servings: 1 large glass

Ingredients

1 cup Fresh or frozen blueberries (frozen will make it thicker)

1 Large ripe banana (peel and slice for easier blending)

1 cup Unsweetened almond milk (adjust for your preferred consistency)

1/2 cup Greek yogurt or ice cubes (optional, for extra creaminess or chill)

1 tsp Honey or maple syrup (optional, if you prefer it sweeter)

Instructions

Layer: Add the almond milk to your blender first (liquid at the bottom helps the blades move easier).

Combine: Add the banana slices and blueberries on top of the milk.

Blend: Secure the lid and blend on high for about 45–60 seconds until completely smooth and purple.

Adjust: If it’s too thick, add a splash more almond milk. If it’s too thin, add a few more frozen berries or ice.

Serve: Pour into a tall glass and enjoy immediately while cold!

Tips for the Best Smoothie

Freeze your bananas: If you peel and freeze your bananas ahead of time, your smoothie will have a texture similar to soft-serve ice cream.

Boost the nutrition: You can easily add a tablespoon of chia seeds or flax seeds for extra fiber without changing the flavor.
