Ambrosia Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, halved
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine mini marshmallows, mandarin oranges, pineapple chunks, shredded coconut, and maraschino cherries.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together sour cream and whipped topping until well combined.
  3. Gently fold the sour cream mixture into the fruit mixture until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Add chopped nuts and stir to incorporate.
  5. If desired, drizzle honey over the salad for extra sweetness.
  6. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let the flavors meld.
  7. Before serving, give the salad a gentle stir and garnish with fresh mint leaves if you like.
