Ingredients:
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions:
- In a bowl, marinate the sliced flank steak with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, sugar, and black pepper. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or skillet over high heat. Add the marinated steak and stir-fry until browned. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed. Sauté onions, bell peppers, garlic, and ginger until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked steak to the pan with the vegetables.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Pour this sauce over the steak and vegetables, tossing to coat evenly.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and well-coated in the sauce.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve over rice or noodles.
