🥤 Tropical Kale & Mango Smoothie

🥤 Tropical Kale & Mango Smoothie

Prep time: 5 minutes | Servings: 2

Ingredients

1 cup Fresh or frozen kale (stems removed)

1 cup Frozen mango chunks

1 cup Fresh or frozen pineapple

1 ½ cups Coconut water (or unsweetened almond milk for a creamier texture)

1 tbsp Fresh lime juice (adds a bright, zesty kick)

½ inch Fresh ginger, peeled (optional, for a spicy wellness boost)

1 tsp Chia seeds or flax seeds (optional, for extra fiber)

Instructions

Layer the Liquid: Add the coconut water and lime juice to your blender first. This helps the blades spin freely and prevents the kale from getting stuck.

Add the Greens: Toss in the kale and ginger. If you don’t have a high-speed blender, pulse the liquid and kale together first to ensure there are no leafy bits left.

Add the Fruit: Add the mango and pineapple. Using frozen fruit is the secret to getting that thick, frosty texture without needing ice.

Blend: Start on a low speed and gradually increase to high. Blend for about 45–60 seconds until completely smooth.

Serve: Pour into glasses and garnish with a fresh pineapple wedge just like in your photo!

Pro-Tips for the Perfect Blend

The “Sweet” Spot: If the kale tastes too “green” for you, add half a frozen banana or a drizzle of honey to mellow it out.

Texture Control: If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more coconut water. If it’s too thin, add more frozen fruit or a few ice cubes.
