Greek Beef Wraps with Creamy Feta Dill Sauce
Ingredients
For the Beef Marinade:
- 1 lb (450 g) beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Creamy Feta Dill Sauce:
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried dill)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Wraps:
- 4 large flatbreads or pita
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Directions
1. Marinate the Beef:
In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, oregano, smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Toss the beef slices in the marinade and let sit for at least 15 minutes.
2. Make the Creamy Feta Dill Sauce:
In a small bowl, combine Greek yogurt, crumbled feta, dill, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Mix until smooth and creamy.
3. Cook the Beef:
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the beef slices 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
4. Assemble the Wraps:
Lay flatbreads on a clean surface.
Spread a generous layer of creamy feta dill sauce on each flatbread.
Top with cooked beef, lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and red onion.
Garnish with fresh parsley.
Roll up tightly and serve immediately.
